Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Singapore
Aim of Position: As a full-time Business Development Director at drcom Singapore, you will lead our business development initiatives and drive the growth of our client base. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare communication and digital marketing, with a focus on strategic development and client relationship management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and data to identify and secure new business opportunities
- Generate and convert leads into successful projects with the support of strategic planners and account managers
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives and market needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes and drive client success
- Interact with senior management within top pharmaceutical clients to build and maintain strategic partnerships
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of the digital communication selling process
Requirements:
- 7 to 15 years of experience in business development within healthcare communication or digital agencies
- Proven track record in sales and business development, specifically in the marketing services sector (not in tech or pharmaceutical sales)
- Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing strategies and their application in the healthcare sector
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- Ability to interact with senior management within top pharmaceutical clients
- Sound understanding of the digital communication selling process
