As a Freelance Content Writer (Medical), you will develop high-quality content tailored to healthcare communications or brand marketing. If you have expertise in medical writing, you will create scientifically accurate materials for various audiences. If you specialize in creative content, you will craft compelling narratives and digital campaigns. This role requires strong writing skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to work across global projects.

Work Arrangement: Freelance, part-time (Full-time availability preferred but project-based)

We are looking for a Freelance Medical Content Specialist to join our EU Creator Team. This role focuses on producing compelling medical content for healthcare campaigns targeting HCP behavior change. If you have a strong background in medical writing, storytelling, and adapting content for different audiences, we’d love to hear from you!


Project Objectives

This project aims to develop engaging medical content for three campaigns, designed to drive HCP behavior change through multichannel implementation. The content will help foster:

  • Confidence in the value of STAGR AIT
  • Trust in the human impact of STAGR AIT
  • Support for patient adherence to STAGR AIT

Scope of Work

  • Develop medical CPR content under the guidance of the Medical Content Director
  • Support the Strategy Planner in reviewing content for strategy slides (analysis deck, multichannel playbook, training slides)
  • Create medical copy work and reference packs for campaign assets (develop the first campaign and adapt styles for the following two campaigns). Final deliverables will be determined at project kickoff.

  • 31 Veeva-approved emails
  • 5 Leave-behinds
  • Infographics (1 creation, 2 adaptations)
  • Long-form articles (1 creation, 2 adaptations)
  • Advertorials (1 creation, 2 adaptations)
  • Short videos (1 creation, 2 adaptations)
  • Still posts (1 creation, 2 adaptations)
  • Participate in client meetings (EU timezone) to clarify requirements
  • Coordinate with the account team and Project Manager for work delivery

Key Requirements

  • Strong medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare field
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for medical content
  • Experience writing for HCP audiences
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling content
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to create properly referenced materials
  • Ability to work autonomously and participate in client meetings in the EU timezone

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with allergen immunotherapy or respiratory health content
  • French language skills (a plus for direct client communication)
  • EU healthcare market knowledge
  • Familiarity with Veeva platform requirements for email and digital content

To legally work as a freelancer in France, you should be registered under one of the following legal statuses:

  • Auto-entrepreneur (Micro-entrepreneur)
