Drcom Group is looking for an experienced Medical Copywriter Freelancer (Philippines) to join us! The Medical Copywriter Freelancer (Philippines) is responsible for creating medical content, including marketing materials and educational tools. A Medical Copywriter Freelancer (Philippines) should be able to research medical data and convert it into content accessible to the target audience. Aiming at selling healthcare products or services or simply encouraging readers to take action, you need to extract relevant information from reliable sources, write creatively, and adhere to medical ethics.

Key duties will be

  • Fully understand the client objectives and requirements relating to content, with a strong emphasis on creating concise, engaging materials.
  • Gather clinical data from the client and other reliable sources, analyze the data, and extract the relevant information.
  • Present clinical information in a concise, reader-friendly format that is visually engaging and accessible to the target audience.
  • Write copy for various formats, from digital to print, targeted at healthcare professionals or patients.
  • Create clear and direct messaging, including compelling calls to action that align with client goals, especially for healthcare campaigns.
  • Work closely with marketing or advertising agencies to create content for healthcare campaigns.
  • Experience developing marketing materials targeted at both healthcare professionals and patients (e.g., e-detailing aids, brochures, digital campaigns).
  • Work closely with the Creative team to integrate visuals (e.g., icons, charts, infographics) that enhance communication of key messages.
  • Collaborate with designers and other creatives to ensure that content layout is visually appealing and effectively communicates the intended message.
  • Participate in project meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Perform other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

General:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical/Pharmaceutical study.
  • Professional English.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a medical copywriter position.
  • Experience working with marketing agencies or creating marketing content for pharmaceutical/healthcare brands.
  • Proven experience in crafting clear, targeted messaging and calls to action.
  • Ability to organize content with strong layout principles, including effective use of headings, icons, and color to break up and highlight information.
  • Ability to create cohesive, well-flowing narratives across multi-channel campaigns and multi-page documents.
