Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled .NET Umbraco Developer to take the lead on a critical project to enhance and maintain our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, experience with Umbraco CMS, and a passion for delivering high-performance and user-friendly websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development & Maintenance:
- Develop and optimize the website using Umbraco CMS on .NET framework.
- Implement features for user registration, authentication, and profile management.
- Manage the database for storing user information and tracking activities.
- Ensure seamless integration with e-learning platforms to monitor CPD points and learning progress.
- Performance Optimization:
- Improve the navigation structure and enhance load time.
- Optimize the overall performance for a smooth user experience.
- Content Management & Support:
- Regularly update website content.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams to align with the company’s goals.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and deadlines effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience with .NET framework and Umbraco CMS development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end libraries.
- Database management experience (e.g., SQL Server).
- Performance Tuning:
- Expertise in website performance optimization techniques.
- E-learning Integration (Preferred):
- Familiarity with integrating e-learning platforms and tracking learning progress.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of WordPress migration (if required).
- Experience with CPD tracking or similar functionalities.
